Remodeling Process

Wondering what happens after you contact Allura? Our nine-step process keeps your renovation organized from the first conversation through installation.

Step 1: Contact Allura

Reach out to begin the conversation about your project. A member of our team will connect you with a designer within one to two business days.

Step 2: Design Planning Session and Measure

Your complimentary, no-commitment consultation takes place in your home. You can share your ideas, goals, and needs while your designer measures the space. Appointments are typically scheduled within one to two weeks.

Step 3: Showroom Meeting

Meet with your designer at our Newark showroom to review initial design plans and your project proposal. This meeting is complimentary and carries no commitment. It is typically scheduled within one to two weeks.

Step 4: Approve the Proposal and Design Deposit

When you are ready to move forward, approve the proposal and submit the $1,500 nonrefundable design deposit. The deposit is credited toward your total project cost once the agreement is signed and is required before plans can be released. This step typically takes one to five days.

Step 5: Selections and Revisions

Work with your designer to finalize materials, fixtures, finishes, project scope, and drawings. This phase typically takes one to ten weeks, depending on selections and decision timing.

Step 6: Agreement Approval and Project Deposit

Review and approve the final agreement, then submit the required project deposit. This step typically takes one to five days.

Step 7: Material Ordering and Scheduling

We order your materials and store them in our warehouse until your project begins. Your project coordinator will introduce themselves within one to two weeks. Current lead time is typically three to four months after Step 6 is complete. A start date cannot be guaranteed until the agreement and deposit are finalized.

Step 8: Installation

Your designer, project coordinator, and on-site project manager work together to guide the installation. A shower remodel typically takes one to two weeks. A full bathroom or kitchen renovation typically takes four to six weeks.

Step 9: Enjoy Your New Space

Once your project is complete, it is time to enjoy your new space. Our team remains available if you have questions after installation.
