Cabinet Design Services
Built Around Your Project

Can I Just Buy Cabinets From Allura?

Short answer: absolutely.

Allura is a full-service design-build firm, but you don’t need to hire us for installation to buy cabinetry or design services from us. We work directly with homeowners, DIYers, general contractors, interior designers and architects throughout Delaware and the surrounding region.

Whether you’re installing the project yourself, hiring your own general contractor or working with a family friend, we provide the design layout and deliver the cabinetry to your job site.

Does It Cost Extra to Design My Cabinets?

No. Our design services are included free of charge when you purchase your cabinetry through Allura.

We work directly with your contractor, architect, engineer or interior designer to create one floor plan and specification package. Getting everyone aligned from day one prevents costly site delays and measurement errors.

What Cabinet Lines Do You Offer?

We offer 7 cabinet lines, from budget-friendly semi-custom options to fully custom architectural cabinetry, with a range of finishes, door profiles, storage accessories and price points to fit your budget.

Can I Buy Cabinets and Take Them Home Today?

No. Allura doesn’t stock off-the-shelf warehouse cabinetry. Every order is built for your home’s exact dimensions and layout.

  • Fastest lead time: about 2 weeks from signed agreement and order approval.

  • Custom lead time: 6 to 7 weeks for custom finishes and specialty lines.

Planning around lead times prevents unneeded stress. It’s tempting to demo a space right away, but waiting for a confirmed cabinet delivery date keeps your project moving smoothly from start to finish.

How Our Cabinet & Design Process Works

When you purchase cabinetry or design services through Allura, the process follows a clear path:

  1. Initial contact: share your room dimensions, project goals and timeline.

  2. Design planning session: discuss layout, functional needs and budget.

  3. Showroom consultation: see cabinet lines, door styles, hardware and finish samples in person.

  4. Proposal approval and design deposit: review concept drawings and preliminary pricing.

  5. Selections and layout revisions: refine storage accessories, trim details and exact finishes.

  6. Final agreement and 50% deposit: sign off on final shop drawings and approve the order.

  7. Order placement: materials are ordered directly from the manufacturer.

  8. Jobsite delivery: cabinets arrive inspected and ready for installation.

  9. Post-delivery support: we stay on call to answer your contractor’s installation questions.

General contractors and interior designers are always welcome at the design planning session, showroom meetings and selection reviews.
